The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, City of Sacramento, and United Core Alliance are partnering to bring a pilot program to learn to assist Northgate businesses with understanding your lease, identifying what your responsibilities are and those of the property owner, and what to do when it’s time to renew. This will be a year-long set of workshops and opportunities to meet and hear from legal experts to help protect your business.

Join us for our Buenos Dias Meet Up at Auburn School Park Preserve in Auburn. Bring a lawn chair! There is parking available on the streets and in a parking lot off of College Way. Follow the walking path and look for our gathering under the trees. an optional 1-mile walk after the mixer for those who want to extend their day a little bit and enjoy another beautiful landscape that we have protected. This will be at our Canyon View Preserve, just another 3 miles away. This preserve has a wonderful view of the American River Canyon and the Foresthill Bridge, a 1+ mile trail system to wander through oaks and pines, and a new community gathering space complete with checker/chess board made from downed trees! It will be a nice chance to unwind outdoors before heading back for a day in the office.

Javier Zamora was born in La Herradura, El Salvador in 1990. When he was a year old, his father fled El Salvador due to the US-funded Salvadoran Civil War (1980-1992). Zamora was left at the care of his grandparents who helped raise him until he migrated to the US when he was nine.
