DESCRIPTION:Program Overview\n\nThe Carlsen Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation present Level Up Sacramento\, the Certificate for Innovation & Entrepreneurship\, designed to teach business owners about building the foundations of innovation for growth. This series guides participants through learning activities to build an understanding of strategic innovation methods and tools for growth. If you are an established minority business owner\, in the City of Sacramento\, and want to build on your skills to take your efforts to the next level\, this certificate program is for you.\n\n \n\nAt the end of the program\, you will:\n\n-Engage your entrepreneurial mindset \n\n-Learn to communicate your business offerings in a more agile way \n\n-Apply leading strategic innovation methods to your specific industry \n\n-Uncover opportunities and problems that need solving and create a minimum viable product as a response \n\n-Understand how to get your offering to the market through the correct channels\n\n-Develop a feasibility analysis and determine (or refine) a financial plan with strategies to access funding \n\n-Receive a Certificate for Innovation & Entrepreneurship from California State University Sacramento\, as well as 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).\n\n \n\nProgram Logistics:\n\nThe program is an 80-hour program run over 10 weeks. The deadline to apply for the program is Friday\, September 2nd. The program begins on September 10th. The courses will be held virtually outside of a launch day at the Carlsen Center on Saturday\, Sept. 10th. The program cost is $3\,500. Scholarships for the program are available through the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.\n\nMinority Small Businesses that are accepted into the program and are deemed eligible for the scholarship.
