The 2024 Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce State of Hispanics event, themed "My voice, Our Gente, Your Future" is a highly anticipated forum that marks the official kickoff of Hispanic Heritage Month and serves as the premier platform for discussing the economic contributions and challenges faced by Hispanics across the Greater Sacramento Region. Featuring a dynamic panel on the role of Hispanic Serving Institutions in our regional economic growth, a discussion with Hispanic elected officials on the economic advancement in cities across our region and the importance of civic engagement, and a compelling fireside chat with political strategist Mike Madrid and Sacramento Bee Opinion Editor, Marcos Breton, this event will provide valuable insights into the transformative impact of the Hispanic community. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the pivotal role Latinos play in contemporary politics and the economic future of our region.
