We invite you to participate in the 4th Annual Sierra Donor Dash 5K run/walk for organ, eye, and tissue donation awareness, also honoring donor heroes and celebrating lives saved & improved! The event will be held on Saturday, April 12, at Crocker Park in Sacramento.
 
This superhero-themed family event will feature:
•            A kids’ quarter-mile fun run 
•            A pet-friendly 5K walk/run
•            A donor hero recognition 
•            A ‘Kids Zone’ with face painting, bounce houses, and other inflatables
 
The goal is to raise awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation as well as $40,000 to provide scholarships for healthcare students from underserved communities in our region. As a nonprofit organ procurement organization, Sierra Donor Services serves more than 2.8 million people across 13 counties in Northern California and Nevada. Their work connects lifesaving organs, eyes, and tissues to children and adults who need them most.
