Description

Good Grief - Dîner en Blanc seeks to support those in career fields carrying our community through traumas and loss while holding their composure and compartmentalizing their own human experience.
 
The gala creates space for connection among the individuals who share this experience, helping them feel seen, supported, and less alone in what they carry. We believe that when people have the opportunity to connect with others who understand their work, they’re more likely to reach out for support rather than holding those experiences in isolation. The gala also seeks to share with attendees the free grief resources available across Greater Sacramento, as well as provide three months of 24/7 access to licensed counselors for their grief support needs following the event.
