Calidanza Dance Company

Steven Valencia is the Executive Director and Artistic Director of Calidanza Dance Company, where he has led the organization since 2013. Under his leadership, Calidanza has evolved into a vibrant professional dance company and academy serving dancers of all ages and skill levels. Steven has also developed a comprehensive educational outreach program that reaches every major school district in the region, inspiring thousands of students each year through performances, workshops, and residencies.

As a grant writer, choreographer, and cultural arts leader, Steven is dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness of Mexican heritage through dance and education. He is also a roster artist with Any Given Child, presenting arts assemblies and artistic residencies that bring cultural understanding and creativity into classrooms.
