The Public Works Department is seeking qualified candidates with experience in the landscape maintenance and operation of an outdoor event space, sport, or park facility to apply for the Maintenance Technician I/II (Landscape) position. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of landscape maintenance principles and standards, basic irrigation system troubleshooting, and the ability to make sound decisions. This position will primarily work at District56 and Old Town Plaza, the City of Elk Grove’s premier public spaces. The position requires significant public interaction, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and exercise good judgment and initiative.
