ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY)

The City of Elk Grove Police Department has two immediate openings for the position of part-time, temporary position of Animal Care Assistant to support the City’s animal shelter team. The ideal candidate is a person who loves animals and has previous experience working with a variety of types and sizes. These positions are at-will and provide extra help on an as-needed basis to the animal shelter as well as assisting families with adopting a cat or kitten at our PetSmart Adoption Center location. The ideal applicant will have a great work ethic and enjoy working with a supportive team.

The positions are at-will, work up to 20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends, and do not receive benefits beyond those required by law.
