The City of Elk Grove Public Works Department is currently seeking a Fleet Supervisor to join the Operations & Maintenance Division!

The ideal candidate will have increasingly responsible experience in the procurement, upfit, management, and maintenance of fleet vehicles and associated equipment for a centralized fleet program which includes both Public Works and Police departments.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge of applicable laws, permits, maintenance principles and standards, best practices, safety, and the ability to make sound decisions. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and exercise good judgment and initiative.
